At the heart of Paws & Flaws is our love for rescue and free-roaming dogs in Thailand, where our behaviour training mission began. We provide services for shelter volunteers and staff, teaching essential behavioural training methods, understanding dog body language, and implementing enrichment activities to enhance confidence and foster relationships.
Our program is designed for both family homes and dog shelters. We believe that education and training are vital for a dog’s well-being and for their human companions, whether or not they are rescues. By focusing on training, we aim to improve adoption success rates and reduce the stigma surrounding rescue dogs.
While our program is currently limited due to time and financial constraints, the Shelter Rescue Program actively consults with Lanta Animal Welfare and collaborates with the Pariah Dog Koh Samui shelter. As their official trainer, we sponsor ongoing training, well-being education, and post-adoption support at their new Training & Enrichment Park.

We understand that running a dog shelter or a rescue organisation is not an easy task. It takes a lot of time, resources and energy to care for the dogs, provide them with shelter, food, and medical care, find them loving homes, while they need continued support to be able to do the work they are doing.
